Tabita Schwenn (1887–1965)
A charming and atmospheric painting executed in oil on board by Tabita Schwenn in 1938.
The motif has a slightly naive character and depicts a young girl among lush branches with large ripe cherries, where the decoratively enlarged fruits form a lively and almost ornamental frame around the figure.
Signed "Tabita" at the bottom right and dated 1938.
In good condition with normal age-related signs of wear.
