Description

The clock dates from around the 1940s – early 1950s. The clock is meant to be "fed" with a 1 krone coin twice a week in order to run, and it also has to be wound every day.

If one wished to save more, this could be done through a notch on the back of the clock.

The savings clock was a piggy bank combined with a clock from Dansk Spare-Selskab. Underneath the clock it says spare no. 414770 and the original rules for savings clocks.

Instead of the one-krone coin of the day, you can use today's two-krone coins. The movement works, and when you have used all your two-krone coins, you can empty the magazine at the bottom and start over.
