Ole Wanscher (1903-1985)
Freestanding desk in Rio rosewood designed by Ole Wanscher and made by cabinetmaker A.J. Iversen in 1962.
An elegant and classic design with a light and harmonious construction. The desk is made in the finest quality Rio rosewood with a rarely beautiful and striking grain. The rectangular tabletop rests on slender, slightly tapered legs and underlines the desk's simple and well-balanced expression.
The front has two drawers with original brass handles and locks. The drawers are made of light wood on the inside, which forms a fine contrast to the dark Rio rosewood.
With label from A.J. Iversen.
Gently repolished.
