Naive storage bench

Naive, artistically made storage bench in the form of elephants in amber-colored lacquer. Between the elephants and at the end decorated with vases and flowers in polychrome lacquer colors. Two liftable lids on top of the bench. Untouched original condition with natural age-related patina. A very charming, decorative and not least useful piece of furniture. Mid 1800's China.

NB: Freestanding elephants on both sides.
