Karin Mobring – Pair of "Natura" lounge chairs for IKEA

Karin Mobring (1927–2005).

Pair of "Natura" lounge chairs, designed by Karin Mobring for IKEA in the 1970s.

Made in solid pinewood with seat and back in heavy cognac-coloured core leather. The wide, low-set seat is suspended in leather straps and combined with the solid, visible wooden structure and wide armrests.

The chairs appear in original condition with natural signs of use and a beautiful, warm patina in both wood and leather, which emphasises the character and age of the materials.
