Hans J. Wegner, 1914–2007
Round dining table, model PP76, also known as the “China Table”, made of solid, matte-lacquered cherry wood.
The table was designed in 1947 as a natural complement to Wegner's iconic China chairs and is aesthetically and proportionally matched to them.
This example was produced by PP Møbler in 2001 and is in beautiful original condition.
As the extension leaf has rarely been in use, it appears slightly darker than the tabletop itself, which has naturally been lightened by the sun over time.

The table has an extension leaf and measures 180 cm in diameter with the leaf inserted, and 120 cm without.
Model PP76 is a classic Wegner design, where simple geometry and functional flexibility are combined in a timeless and elegant design language.
