Gustavian bedside table - Sweden ca. 1780–1800

Gustavian bedside table in pine with a white-grey color and beautiful patina.

The cabinet appears elegant and harmonious in expression, with classic Gustavian details.
The front has a pair of doors with fluted panels and original brass knobs.
The fine floral carvings on the sides of the front add a discreet decorative element.

The top has a profiled edge, and the whole is underscored by the slender, slightly tapered fluted legs, which give the piece a light and well-proportioned look.

Inside, the cabinet is simple and functional with good storage space. The left door is fitted with an internal iron fitting for locking.

Sweden, ca. 1780–1800.
