Gustavian chest of drawers, Denmark 1780-90

Gustavian chest of drawers in grey-white color with fine patina.
The chest has three spacious drawers with brass handles and escutcheons. Beneath the top is a decorative relief with swans, flanked by carved rosettes. On the sides of the body are elegant quarter columns, finished at the top with bronze capitals and at the bottom with profiled bronze rings. The chest stands on tapered fluted legs, which give the piece a light and classic Gustavian look.
