Danish vintage terracotta footed fruit bowl, designed by P. Ipsens Enke, 1970s

This fine terracotta footed fruit bowl was made by the Copenhagen workshop P. Ipsens Enke in the early 20th century.

Material and design: Unglazed, matte terracotta in characteristic warm yellow and brown shades, decorated with reliefs of fruit or nuts.

Origin: Made by P. Ipsens Enke's Royal Court Terracotta Factory in Copenhagen – a company known for its ceramics in Art Nouveau and Art Deco style.
